It's time to read I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith! If you are as excited as I am about this book, you've probably been sneakily reading a chapter or two before the "official" start. If you haven't picked up the book, run on down and get a copy, then come and join us! It's going to be a good read and I'm sure it will provoke discussion.

If a new book to read isn't exciting enough, I am also happy to announce that we have taken your helpful advice from the survey and created a new page full of info on Dodie Smith and her works. Come look at her biography, fun facts, reading guide etc. We'll also archive these pages so you can find them later.

The third thing I'd like to announce is that we will be reading Kim by Rudyard Kipling in May. Kim is widely acknowledged as the author's greatest novel and is packed with adventures. This book is definitely not to miss. I am sad that neither King Solomon's Mines nor Vince and Joy were picked, but I'm sure they'll make it in the mix one way or the other.
