As of May 28th, 2008, the AbeBooks Affiliate Program will no longer be run through the Commission Junction platform. It was a tough decision to make, however we feel that it is for the best. While we have had a long and fruitful partnership with Commission Junction over the last 6 years, we've decided that the right decision, both for our affiliates and our own business, will be to move to the DoubleClick Performics platform.

Our Performics program will be open for registration as of May 1st, 2008, while the Commission Junction program will be fully shut down, and no longer paying commission, as of May 28th, 2008.

We understand that for many of you, changing links will be a time consuming and potentially arduous process. We appreciate your loyalty and apologize for the extra work; we hope that we'll be able to make up for it with new initiatives and tools in the future. We will keep you updated as we get closer to the move with our new creatives, details on how to join Performics (for those who don't already work with merchants there) and some tips for changing links over.

This change, however, will not affect the AbeBooks.co.uk affiliate program, which will remain on the Commission Junction network though AbeBooks.co.uk though it will be available through DoubleClick Performics as well.

	1. Sign up with DoubleClick Performics Sign up with DoubleClick Performics, our affiliate network provider. The service is free and signup is easy. 2. Choose your promotional methods DoubleClick Performics has banners, buttons, textlinks and search boxes to satisfy whatever means of promotion you prefer. Available in both basic html and javascript, integration is easy, and don’t hesitate to contact us about custom graphics or other opportunities for placement. 3. Copy and paste the provided code Copy and paste the provided code into the source code of your site, html email or search ad, and see how much traffic you can drive to us. Just remember, the more visible the ad, the more sales you will get. DoubleClick Performics also offers some great reporting tools so you can track exactly how many sales you are driving.
